Greetings all!
My name is Andrew. I've been re-enacting for roughly 8 years now as American Civil War. I just made the switch to German WWII only to discover that my impression doesn't fit with most German Units. (I do rear guard Eastern Front. Mostly because I lack funds to dump into the K-98). So after talking it over with a fellow re-enactor. I've settled on Finnish because I already own a good amount of German equipment as well as a model 90/31 Mosin.

Hello all
I have been portraying American infantry since 02 and am now looking for a new impression. With a large Scandinavia population where I live in MN a Finnish impression would work well. Are there any members of this unit in MN or WI? Also has any one had the desire to bring this group to the event in Rockford IL?

Hi All..........I started doing the WW2 Finnish Impression here in Texas with Thor a few years back. I have a complete kit and am looking to do something with it.
I'm willing to travel a bit outside Texas,so if anyone is of a like mind, please contact me.
I'd hate to have spent the time and considerable expense on this impression, and finally "get there", only to turn around and sell it.

Hi- I'm mostly new to reenacting and completely new to WWII reenacting. I'm familiar with SCA and buckskinning groups and the family has been doing living history since I was a young boy.
I can say that two things inspired my search for this group and I'm looking forward to getting a kit together and meeting with others with a similar interest. My interest in Finnish Mosin rifles and a recent trip to the U.P. where many Finnish people settled and preserve their culture.
At any rate, I'm a complete beginner, looking for more information and just starting to explore the site and literature. Any advice is welcome, I'm here to learn and preserve history with great people!

I've been interested in ww2 reenacting for some time . I did civil war reenacting for ten years when I was younger ( and unmarried ). My interest in Finnish reenacting is also personal due to my uncle fighting and unfortunately dying in the winter war. I never got the chance to meet him so thru reenacting I might get some perspective into what he felt. Please send me an email if your still reenacting in the New York area. Thank you , George B Jones

I think what you typed made a bunch of sense. But, think about this, suppose you added a little content? I am not suggesting your content isn't solid., but suppose you asded something to maybe grab people's attention? I mean Introduction thread | 2nd J?ger Battalion Forum is kinda plain. You could peek at Yahoo'sfront page and watch how thsy write article headlines to grab people to click. You migvht add a related video or a piic or two to grab people excited about everything've written.
